Warm from the inside
We shot Echoes of Warmth over three nights in Lofoten, October 2027. No studio lights, no heated tent. The only light came from the aurora shifting colour after midnight and the headlamps of two snowmobiles parked side by side.
The collection is 14 pieces, opening with the Black Panel Jacket and closing with a pair of interchangeable-lens goggles. Everything is cut in black. Insulation, sealed seams and straps sit on the inside, leaving nothing on the surface but shape.
Every piece was worn by the models at real temperature before it went in front of the camera. The jackets held at minus 19 without a mid layer. The cargo trousers stood up to wind on the ridge. The face coverings stayed sealed at the neck on the back of a snowmobile doing 60 kilometres an hour.
The warmth in this collection has nothing to do with colour or logos. It is the moment you forget you are standing in snow. That is what we set out to capture in the 14 images that follow.

A two-layer shell zipped diagonally up to the chin, so crosswind never reaches the neck. Steady enough to keep walking with snow blowing straight at you.

A light shell with a high sealed collar, no scarf needed. Warm enough to stop and look up instead of walking on to stay warm.
Behind the Scenes
Three nights in Lofoten
A crew of 9, two snowmobiles and one generator for the headlamps. We shot from 11pm to 4am because the aurora only cleared after midnight. The coldest reading was minus 19. The models wore the collection for the whole shift, no standby puffer between takes. 22 pieces went out for testing, 14 came back in this lookbook.
The hardest call this season was taking all the colour out. The first sketches had an orange band across the jackets, and it looked good on paper. Out in Lofoten the sky changed colour on its own every night, and I realised the clothes only had to stay quiet and let the sky do the rest. All 14 pieces have stayed black since.
